  • LV Quarterback #10
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Pierce’s commitment to the bit is notable, but after they aircasted O’Connell and carted him off in Week 14, we’re quite comfortable in saying that Ridder will helm a #RevengeGame against the Falcons. (Can it be a #RevengeGame if you barely earned the right to start in the first place? We’re looking into this.) A Ridder takeover, something that could possibly last the final four weeks of the season, would probably relegate Jakobi Meyers to fantasy benches and leave Brock Bowers as the only Raiders tight end or receiver worth starting.
  • CAR Running Back #24
It’s a brutal blow for Brooks, who made his NFL debut in Week 12 after suffering a torn ACL in the same knee in November 2023 while playing at Texas. This was the immediate concern for Brooks when he suffered the non-contact injury in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles and needed to be carted off the field. Now, he will begin yet another long rehab process in hopes of being ready in time for training camp, although it wouldn’t be surprising if his 2025 season followed a similar path to this season given the timing of the injury. Brooks totaled 45 scoreless yards from scrimmage on 12 touches this season.
  • NO Quarterback #4
According to Rapoport, Carr is “expected to miss several weeks,” which likely makes this a season-ender for the 33-year-old quarterback. However, the team is debating whether or not to place Carr on IR or leave “the window of opportunity open” — for some reason. Carr has thrown for 2145-15-5 this season, going 5-5 in the 10 starts he’s made this season, and is under contract through 2026. Regardless of what the Saints say, it’d be surprising if we saw Carr under center again in 2024.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Tillman did not practice at any point last week and this update has us pessimistic on his odds of playing in Week 15 against the Chiefs. If he remains sidelined, it will be continued good news for Jerry Jeudy, David Njoku, and Elijah Moore as they’ll continue to be Jameis Winston’s main weapons.
  • TB Running Back #7
Come feel old with us, Bucky. There was no MRI done on Irving last night per Jenna Laine, which is a good sign. But it seems like Irving’s status will be very practice-dependent this week. He’d be on the RB2 line against a strong Chargers defense if he can play, but his status appears to be very tenuous right now.
  • PIT Wide Receiver #14
It’s just one man’s opinion, but when speaking on 102.5 WDVE’s Morning Show with Randy Baumann, Dulac said Pickens has a Grade 2 hamstring injury “that’s typically two weeks” recovery time, while adding, “So I don’t think they’re expecting him to play in Philadelphia either.” Pickens picked up the injury last Friday, so he’ll barely be a week removed from the injury when the Steelers suit up next Sunday to take on the Eagles. He did test his hamstring during pre-game warmups before ultimately being ruled out, but this will definitely be something to watch out for when the team releases its first injury report on Wednesday. If Pickens is unable to go, the Steelers could once again be looking at Calvin Austin, Van Jefferson, and Scotty Miller as their top three receivers against a stout Eagles defense.
  • SF Running Back #31
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said after the game that the X-rays on Guerendo’s foot didn’t reveal anything and that the initial belief is that the rookie suffered a foot sprain. He’ll undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm, but Guerendo’s Week 15 availability on a short week is undoubtedly in question. Guerendo said after the game that he feels “great,” so we’ll see how things unfold from here. If he can’t go, the 49ers will likely be starting Patrick Taylor, who ran seven times for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Bears.
  • ATL Quarterback #18
Morris didn’t place much blame at Cousins’ feet following the Falcons’ 42-21 loss to the Vikings. Morris said his quarterback “played significantly better than he did [in Week 13]” while adding the team “did not support him” in the loss. Cousins threw for 344 scoreless yards in the defeat and has now gone four-straight games without throwing an interception while tossing eight picks. Morris sticking by his quarterback shouldn’t come as a surprise at this point. The Falcons get a chance for a nice bounce-back in Week 15 against the Raiders and then have games against the Giants, Commanders, and Panthers to close things out. You couldn’t ask for an easier schedule when it comes to correcting course, now it’s on Cousins to take advantage of the schedule.
  • FA Head Coach
Already thought to be one of the top free agent coaching candidates during the NFL’s next head coaching cycle, it would appear Belichick is more than serious about trying his hand at the college game. “It’s uncertain how deep UNC’s talks with Belichick are,” according to Thamel’s latest article, but the sides are expected to reach a resolution later this week, one way or another. It’s hard to envision the 72-year-old NFL legend on a college sideline in 2025, but he’s clearly open to the idea if the situation is right.
  • KC Wide Receiver #8
Hopkins caught a second quarter touchdown to send the Chiefs into the break up 13-0. The Chargers then mounted a spirited comeback in the third frame when they scored 14 unanswered points, eventually resulting in traded field goals in the fourth. Hopkins could have had a much bigger fantasy outing had he come down with any of the three deep targets on the evening, most notably failing to haul in a deep pass from Patrick Mahomes on the team’s final drive that was in his hands but dislodged by a vicious hit down the left sideline. Even so, Hopkins continues to lead an unconcentrated pass-catching corps that could catch fire down the stretch as they prepare for the postseason. Up next for Hopkins and the Chiefs are the Browns in Week 15.
