Evans came into the game with two injury designations, ribs and Achilles, ultimately suiting up. He limped to the locker room with the help of training staff and was seen in the tunnel pointing to his Achilles. The 33-year-old receiver has been on the injury report for much of the season, with the most recent ailment potentially proving to be too much to play through. Expect an update from the team after the half. Evans caught 3-of-5 targets for 94 yards prior to departing.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #17
The mechanism of the injury did not look promising, with the veteran receiver buckling to the turf in non-contact fashion. It’s a devastating development for the 31-year-old receiver in what was the first game since Week 1 where Jayden Daniels, McLaurin, and Stefon Diggs were healthy together. Expect further updates from the team as the game progresses, but it certainly appears as if McLaurin’s season could be in jeopardy. McLaurin caught his only target for 27 yards prior to departing. Rookie Antonio Williams and Treylon Burks are the most likely fill-ins for the remainder of the game, and, potentially, the season.
  • SEA Running Back #26
Finally, some good news for both Seahawks fans and fantasy managers, alike, after the Seattle run game has gotten off to a sluggish start to the 2026 season. Charbonnet has been on the physically unable to perform list through the first six weeks of the season but appears likely to make his return to the active roster for a marquee matchup against the Chiefs in a game some would consider a must-win for the suddenly reeling Seahawks. Macdonald added that the veteran back would get a full week of practice this week before any decision was made. Fantasy managers can add Charbonnet from waivers, if available.
  • WAS Wide Receiver #3
Diggs returns from a one-game absence due a hamstring injury. Although possible he sees his route participation curtailed, fantasy managers that made it this far are likely forced to ride with the veteran receiver in a solid schematic matchup against the zone-heavy 49ers. Inactive for the Commanders are QB Marcus Mariota, CB Fabian Moreau, CB Isaac Yiadom, OLB T.J. Magunranyanga, G Tanoa Togiai, and DE Charles Omenihu.
  • LA Wide Receiver #17
Adams had a non-contact injury at the end of Week 6’s loss to the Cardinals and unfortunately is as serious as it appeared. He’ll likely be placed on injured reserve ahead of Week 7. His absence will further focus targets on Puka Nacua and likely elevate Konata Mumpfield into a bigger role. Adams had put together a 30/480/4 line in his first six games of the season. Adams will reportedly have surgery to “clean” out the tendon, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, in hopes he can return around the team’s bye week, which is scheduled for Week 11. It’s a major blow for a Rams team that is already reeling at 2-4.
  • GB Running Back #8
LaFleur said Jacobs will log a full week of practice but also pointed out that the 28-year-old back has “missed the exposure to football” over the last several months while on the commissioner’s exempt list. Jacobs was reinstated by the league late last week and is eligible to play immediately, but whether or not he will be active next week is to be determined. We’ll see how this week unfolds, but it would be a bit surprising if Jacobs was inactive in a pivotal NFC North matcup.
  • NYG Quarterback #18
The fact that he has to think about it probably tips the hand that it will be J.J. McCarthy sooner or later — if not outright now. Jameis Winston was replaced by McCarthy in the fourth quarter yesterday and McCarthy showcased his deep arm and almost erased a large deficit by throwing for 243 yards on 21 attempts. If McCarthy did start against the Texans, he would likely be a bottom five superflex option on the Week 7 slate because of his established history as a starter.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #1
Dell will make his long-awaited return next week against the Giants. By the time he takes the field in Week 7, Dell will have been more than 22 months removed from his last regular-season game, which came in Week 16 of the 2024 season. Dell suffered a torn ACL, LCL, and MCL, along with a dislocated knee, in that game against the Chiefs and has been on a long road to recovery. He’ll join a crowded receiver room that recently acquired Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jaylin Noel has posted a solid 17-334-2 line through the first six weeks of the season and topped 100 yards in Sunday’s win over the Jaguars. Targets could be hard to come by for Dell, but his return next week is an impressive feat on its own given the injury he had to work through.
  • SF Wide Receiver #5
Evans did not log a practice in the days leading up to Monday night’s game against the Commanders, but the team still listed him as questionable on Saturday. Schefter reports the Niners want to see how Evans looks during pregame warmups, but it sounds like they are somewhat hopeful he will be active for Monday’s game. Evans has caught 24 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns this season and went for 7-113-1 on 10 targets in last week’s win over the Seahawks. He would be a must-start on Monday against Washington if he is active.
  • BAL Quarterback #8
When asked if Jackson’s ankle has improved over the last two weeks, Minter offered up a resounding “yes.” Jackson missed a second straight game in Week 6’s loss to the Browns, despite reports earlier in the week that said he nearly played in Week 5 against the Falcons. We’ve seen injuries linger in the past for Jackson, whose team fell to 4-2 on the season and is now preparing to face another division rival in the Bengals next week. Jackson, who is considered day-to-day, did not get on the practice field in any capacity last week, so even a few limited sessions would be an upgrade as far as his Week 7 availability is concerned.
